Thanksgiving Tree

In honor of Thanksgiving next week, I decided to have the boys gather sticks from outside and create our very own thanksgiving tree. We used the sticks we collected, an old vase, Japanese washi tape, and homemade paper leaves with labels to make our tree.

we wrapped the vase with different styles of washi tape.

was thankful for and we printed them out using a label maker. It was such a blessing to hear his heart! I also had him punch the letters into the label maker to build the word. This was a great lesson!
i am thankful for daddy, a car, pumpkin....
it was so sweet hearing him say thank you for Hans!
Thankful Tree Fun!

This was such a great activity that included a nature walk, word building, taping, and heartfelt words. The boys loved it!
