Using coffee filters and pennies Henry and I played a game. We simply tossed pennies into the filters and counted them afterwards. As he gets older I will make it a bit more competitive by asking "who got the most in the filter"? As for now it's a great concentration and math skill for him.
we started with him doing it close and as he gets comfortable with the idea we'll place him further away.
